Police say a bank robbery suspect has barricaded himself inside a motel room in Clarksville. Officers have surrounded the Motel 6 on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. A tactical unit and negotiators are also assisting with the situation.

Metro Nashville Police said a 15-year-old boy was shot and killed in East Nashville on Wednesday. Police said the Jeremiah Shelton was found shot in the chest at the Berkshire Place Apartments on Porter Road. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition where he later died.

A man was arrested on Tuesday for criminal homicide at a home in the Holt Hills area of South Nashville. Metro police responded to the 3700 block of Cobble Street around 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 3rd. A middle aged woman, identified as Tivvis Garrison, was found dead when her nephew, Franco Garrison, went to check on her, according to police.

A woman is accused of robbing a bank in Cumberland County bank Saturday morning. The Upper Cumberland Federal Credit Union got robbed around 11:15 a.m. Police tracked the suspect to Nashville, where she was arrested approximately two hours after the robbery, according to the Crossville Police Department.
