A man was injured when he was shot Monday at a Bellevue intersection after his car was rear-ended. It happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 100 and Old Hickory Boulevard. Metro police said the driver was sitting at the red light when his car was hit from behind by a gray Honda Accord.

Police said the Jeremiah Shelton was found shot in the chest at the Berkshire Place Apartments on Porter Road. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition where he later died.

Metro police responded to the 3700 block of Cobble Street around 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 3rd. A middle aged woman, identified as Tivvis Garrison, was found dead when her nephew, Franco Garrison, went to check on her, according to police.
