Officers were called to the scene in the 1400 block of 11th Avenue South around 10:30 a.m. Monday. The victim was confirmed dead on arrival
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the shooting took place along the street just off 22nd Avenue North about 10:20 a.m. Monday:

MPD responded to a shooting at 741 Adams. One male was located and transported to Regional One. He was pronounced deceased at the hospital. There is no suspect information at this time. This investigation is ongoing.
